Director

Sarah Gioia has directed and dramaturged over 50 productions and readings all over the Twin Cities including at The Guthrie, The Playwrights’ Center, Eye of the Storm Theatre, The Children’s Theatre Company, Pillsbury House Theater’s Chicago Avenue Project, Starting Gate Productions, the Center for Hmong Arts and Talent, The Bryant-Lake Bowl and The Great American History Theatre, where she is also the New Works Associate. Her work has been seen in New York and Seattle as well as the Twin Cities. She has most recently dramaturged Sons of the Bedtime Nooz at The History Theatre and her next directing project is Murderers at The Illusion Theater later this month. Sarah is also the Casting Associate at the Playwrights’ Center.
