What if Shakespeare had written The Godfather? The story is all there: a classic tale of power, love, intrigue and betrayal. David Mann's original show, Corleone: The Shakespearean Godfather, was a hit at both the New York and Minnesota Fringe Festivals, where it premiered in a one hour format in 2005. For its run in St. Louis, Corleone was ranked by critics as the #1 show of 2007. Mann has now expanded the script for Gremlin; transforming it from its Fringe format to a full length evening of theatre.

Which is the point, of course: David Mann's "Corleone: The Shakespearean Godfather" weds the bard to Puzo and Coppola with skill, humor and an obvious fervor for all aspects of the source material... David Mann's Shakespearean makeover of the gangster classic amuses with a clever script. - Graydon Royce, Star Tribune
